We are going down fellas.

Not meaning to be a naysayer.  But unless we can come up with an even greater miracle than the Great Escape season (we were 2 points better off at this stage back then), we are properly screwed.

So, may as well start thinking about our next promotion campaign.

Fulham.  Pfft.   We are so bloody frustrating.

Good. Am sick of being in the spotlight as we are so shit. We can go back to the shadows of the championship where we belong under current ownership.

There is no way we're staying up. Not only would we have to pull off a monumental turnaround but we would need two other teams to be worse than us. And let's face it, all the other teams near the bottom are better prepared. And we spent more than all of them combined.

The issue is not just the players purchased, the Manager....and the recruitment team.......the problem permeates into the entire club management infrastructure.

The crux of the matter is that Khan Senior has been a very indulgent and benevolent owner....with a very much hands-off approach.
There is ONE .....yes....1.....Conference Call to Motspur Park from Shad Khan to the FFC ''Management''... late every Monday evening (Lunch-time Eastern so as not to disrupt his 'work schedule').
This call runs through the football issues..and any 'general' business issues....arising from the previous week

The General Management Team are...relative to similar 'small clubs' ..eg H'field/Cardiff etc....INCREDIBLY well paid/compensated....and given this benevolence (and may I add Khan's treatment of the residual Al Fayed staff) EVERYONE is extremely reluctant to voice an 'alternate' opinion.....and thus decision-making has veered into 'GroupThink'....which is an absolute cancer for any business.

A terrible state of affairs...but thats the way things lie at our club at present....

Yep. Nobody wants to be thrown off the gravy train even if it means the utter demise of the club and the crashing of the gravy train anyway.

So Ranieri will be sacked on Tuesday then?

They all need to watch that Sunderland documentary on Netflix.  Crystal ball.

The reality is that we will get spanked this season and end up mid to bottom of the championship next season. There is nothing to look forward to for about the next two years!
