This argument is lost on me.  We sacked him and went down anyway--relegated before Easter.  It's as if his detractors are suggesting had we stayed with Slav we would have been relegated worse than we were relegated.  In hindsight now it's crystal clear we should have stuck with him.

Of the 3 managers we had only one had a proven record of getting the best from the squad given to him in the second half of the season.

In the Championship we looked like a good team waiting for the luck to change.  The way Joka had us playing in the Premier League we looked out of our depths, no hopers from the start. Last season we were arguably the best team in the Division but struggled to get us into the playoffs, a good manger would have had no trouble in getting that team promoted.  A good manager would have got this years team into mid-table this season.
