The first half was poor but going down the stretch there was only 1 team scoring. We had 20 mins to put the ball in the net against a spent team and it just wouldn’t go, meanwhile Charlton score with basically there only attack of the half. Defensively we are still no where near promotion standard as we always seem to concede when we most need to stop the opposition from scoring.

Also Mitrovic, Cairney, Knockaert, Cav are all still on the pitch so why is Mawson taking a direct free kick?

No idea why Mawson demanded to take the free kick, was almost like the AK moment
Should of let Mitro take it for sure

Mawson should have been about 6th or 7th in the pecking order for that kick. He will be from now on.

A bit of invention from the 'free kick' would have been good. At least SP had a plan 'B' and did it at half-time. Maybe had those changes be made after 30 minutes; we would of won the match.

Another way to see that game is that we got a good point against a very good team who have a much, much better keeper than we do.

Definitely two points lost. They scored immediately after we scored; that's poor game management. The relief of scoring and we let our guard down. We should be defending like tigers.

True their goalkeeper was outstanding
Betts made a couple of nice saves too so not about to start knocking him either
