So not a great result; but we haven't lost too much ground.

Three points separate 9 team. Charlton showed they are one of the best team in the league. If we had a keeper that was not completely lacking in confidence we probably would have won.

Not really, they have lost 3 out of the last 5 matches.

It’s there for the taking this season with the squad we have. Some very winnable games coming up.

Thats points dropped against West Brom, Cardiff, Forest and now Charlton...all games we should have won. We'd of been way clear by now if we could put together a 90 minute performance consistently. We only had a decent 45 against Millwall and against Reading.

There is no such thing as guaranteed wins.  The Charlton manager had sold his player of tactics to stifle our play and for a lot of the game that was successful.  Against Barnsley they attacked us very skilfully for 90 minutes and deserved to win.

There is no right to win any game but we showed today we have we have the necessary fight to win such games and if their keeper was not so brilliant and if our keeper had not let in two goals their keeper would have saved we would have won.

They are dropped points; with the squad we have (there is more in the tank) we should win; it is that simple. The play for 90 minutes is the key; game management, control the game, keep attacking etc.
