So All The Parker Haters Are Hiding Now
#1
Admit it you were all wrong, have got a very good manager and Khan purchases this season have been brilliant and Parker must to have something to do with that.

I hope some of the Godlike devotion to Joka, who must have something to do with the transfer nightmare of last season, will now abate.

I cannot think a better demonstration of the points I was making.  I am not deluded.

Think I said 6 weeks ago Parker is turning us into a 1-0 winning side because that’s what premier league survival demands.

Others responded that were not a 1-0 team

That was of course prior to hector and while Rodak was still a young improving keeper now both look like rocks on our defence

Already I think we’re best equipped for a season of premier league of the 7-8 sides competing for that honour but that’s not the same as best equipped to win this league the others have a little more willingness to attack then us and at their best maybe a little more creativity in midfield but we now have the goal scorers and a solid defence also seen to be holding our nerve well under pressure so it bodes well at this moment

So who / which are the current 1- 0 sides in
The Prem?

I’d rather be a 3-0 team than a 1-0 team. With our improved defence down to the signing of Hector and our much documented attacking options there’s no reason we shouldn’t be Most weekends in this league.

I appreciate every game isn’t going to be plain sailing but we haven’t won convincingly in months. I’m still searching for one complete performance we do both sides of the game well for the 90.

Also taking a dig at Joka really? Parker’s not in the same league. We played incredible football under Joka. He made players like Ream better. Put Cairney in a position to succeed and look at the development of Ryan Sess a 17/18 year old without whom we wouldn’t have been promoted? Parker is competent but hasn’t had nearly that effect. Everyone said you couldn’t play your way out of this league and we did. Joka’s failing was he didn’t adapt to the Prem well enough. But at this level with a worse squad he was immense.
