Very underrated actor, the Horror channel are rerunning the original series, they stack up well even today. The shows were more then entertainment. Technology wise a lot of it has happened and will happen.

When the whole crew in unison throw themselves from one side of the ship to the other must of taken a lot of ballet lessons to perfect.

Well CGI wasn't around then; if it had been then the show would have been much better, who knows what they could of created.

What I liked about Star Trek was its 'messages'.. eg Universality, Equality, Scientific Advancement, Discovery etc... although sometimes presented in a haphazard or naff manner.
These themes are essential in every child's mental development and socialisation...

It also had mixed race romance very rare in American TV even to the present time.

I agree, it's a shame they stopped the series
When they did. If it had carried on it would never
Have reached cult status.
